Biography
Leelavinothan Pari has completed his Ph.D. Biochemistry from the University of Madras, Chennai. He is a professor of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India. He has published more than 175 papers in reputed international journals (Citations 9152; h-index 59; i10-index 133).) and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute. Currently, he is actively working on health-promoting Phytochemicals & Diabetes. He has produced 25 Ph.D. and 60 M.Phil. He received many prestigious awards such as DBT-CREST Award (Visiting Professor, Cardiovascular Research Center, University of Glasgow, UK-2013), Commonwealth Academic Professional Fellowship (Visiting Scientist, Institute of Molecular Sciences, University of London, UK-2012), INSA Award (Visiting Scientist, German Diabetes Research Center, Dusseldorf, Germany-2007), Indian Academy of Science Summer Fellowship (Visiting Researcher, Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India-2006), Indo-Polish Collaborative Research Award (Visiting Professor, Polish Academy of Science, Poland-2005) and DBT Overseas Associateship Award (Visiting Researcher, Division of Biomedical Sciences, Strathclyde University, Glasgow, UK-2004).
